About Us

Fishguard Musical Theatre Society (FMTS) is a community musical theatre and drama group  with a  growing reputation for producing top quality shows and performances. As the name suggests, our roots are in Fishguard, but our reach extends far beyond. Recent productions have been at Theatr Gwaun and Ysgol Bro Gwaun in Fishguard, Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi in St Davids and Theatr Mwldan in Cardigan.

We are an inclusive group with over a hundred members extending over a wide age range, from 5 to 70 plus. This gives us access to a hugely diverse range of skills and experience, and enables us to negotiate a plethora of genres from revue shows such as ‘Magic of The Musicals’ to full song and dance productions such as Oliver, The Wizard of Oz and Cats to complex, gritty stage plays such as Brassed Off and the upcoming Land Of My Fathers.

Next Production

We are currently in rehearsal for our latest production, the full west-end version of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s much loved musical ‘Cats’. Performance dates are at 7pm on April 17th, 18th, 20th and 21st at the Ysgol Bro Gwaun auditorium in Fishguard. Tickets are available and on sale now through this site.
